The as yet unsolved 2008 murder of Hank Alan Johnson in a motel room in Hearne, Texas is a story that will break your heart. He seemed like a great kid…I wish I had known him. July 21 will make two years since his murder.
While I cannot fathom the pain, anguish and sense of loss a mother (or father) must feel as with the death of a child, I would expect that as the parent, it is one thing should your child die of natural causes or accident - but other emotions would come into play if your child’s death was of a senseless, brutal murder. Such is the reality for the family of Hank Alan Johnson.
My heart aches at the agonizing, all consuming pain anyone who comes into contact with Sandra Horndt will bear witness to. She is the mother of Hank Alan Johnson. Such is a mother’s passion - she is unrepentant, unapologetic and undeterred in her pursuit of justice in the wrongful death of her boy.
Sandra also believes she knows who those involved in the murder are and she makes no secret of her suspicions. She has a good amount of material to read if someone wants to decipher her prose then connect the dots. She will share her theory with anyone and everyone who will listen. Her certitude is such that it alone offers reason for a closer look. So we will look into the matter and see where it leads.
I have no pre-conceived opinion and there is little I like less than false accusations. We will try to keep what we publish the facts as known at any given time. While the truth never changes, the facts that help bring it to light, can. More to come...
